From here.

Rough fingers reached under the cup of her bra, thumb brushing her hard nipple. "Take it off," he told her. "Take it all off."

Lana whimpered and shifted away to tug at her shirt. She didn't want to move away from his touch, but she definitely wanted to give him more access to her skin.

She was feeling ever so much better, finally. The stupid cold was gone, she wasan't exhausted and miserable all the time, and she thought it was time she and Jax got to have a little Valentine's Day celebration.

He'd taken such good care of her while she was sick, cooking for her, holding her as she slept, just being there without complaint. He deserved something a little special. A lot special.

Besides, she couldn't deny how much she wanted him and how much she'd missed having sex with him.

So she'd made a few preparations - clean sheets, candles, some food, and a special gift she really hoped he'd like.

Then she settled in with a book and an innocent expression to wait for him to stop by.

After her early dinner with Michael, Lana had said goodbye to him in the lobby, thinking they'd better not tempt fate and not sure if Jax might be waiting for her upstairs.

He wasn't and she wasn't quite brave enough to go over and knock on his door.

So, she made herself a cup of tea and settled down on the couch with a book, trying to read, but mostly just thinking about everything that had happened over the past twenty-four hours.

It was cold and a bit dreary outside and Lana just felt she wanted to be able to sit out, swim a little, pretend she was somewhere warmer. Plus, swimming was excellent exercise and she'd gotten a little tired of slipping down to the gym at night. This was a nice way to change things up.

And there was a nice little hot tub where she thought she could soak and read a book for a while after she'd worked out.

She'd left a note on her door saying where she'd be in case anyone came looking for her.

There was no way she was letting herself be completely sidetracked this time, so she'd spent a good part of the day cooking - brownies, lasagna, salad, raspberry pie and garlic bread. She'd loaded everything except the lasagna and garlic bread, which were just about done, into bags, added a bottle of champagne and two glasses for midnight, and made her way across the hall.

She 'knocked' on the door with her foot since both her arms were full and waited for Jax to answer.

After puzzling with David and having a nice dinner of Tim's new special macaroni and cheese, Lana made her way back up to the sixth floor. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't been thinking about this all evening, though she'd tried not to let the guys see how distracted she was during dinner.

She hesitated at his door once more than knocked firmly.
